Trio who can turn out musical notes from the strangest of instruments, musical or non-musical. They are "The Alligator Jug-Thumbers" of Timsbury Bottom, Somerset. Left to right - Cliff Brown, 40 who is a film director blows into and finger-taps a jug. Quentin Williams, 35 a teacher, makes the most of a peculiar and unnamed instrument while Barry Back, 23 a sound recordist, keeps to the more mundane guitar.

Junior Dance Team - Blackpool, Lancashire
Ten-year-old dancing partners Carol Singleton and Brian Cockburn of Blackpool, Lancashire, who have been chosen for a newly-formed juvenile dance team that will represent England against Germany. Carol and Brian, who have been partners for 18 months, both want to make dancing their career.

Arsenal's George Eastham (l) poses with the Newcastle United mascot before the match, less than three months after the completion of his protracted and controversial transfer from Newcastle to Arsenal. Eastham challenged the retain-and-transfer system that was in force in English football at the time, winning a High Court case which established a player's right to a transfer and declared the retain-and-transfer system an unreasonable restraint of trade.
