Winston Churchill leaves treaty conference
Winston Churchill leaving Downing Street after the Irish Treaty Conference with the Government and delegates representing the Irish Provincial Government. 04/04/03 : The BBC's Churchill drama The Gathering Storm landed three honours at a broadcasting awards ceremony. The 8 million blockbuster, looking at his pre-Second World War wilderness years, was named best one-off drama and picked up both acting awards.
