JOHN MCENROE 1981: American John McEnroe, the new Wimbledon Men's Singles Champion, raising the trophy aloft in the traditional salute after his epic battle against the five year long reigning champion, Swede Bjorn Borg. 12/01/04: Three-time Wimbledon champion John McEnroe who has admitted unwittingly taking steroids for six years. Reacting to Greg Rusedski's admission that he had tested positive for banned steroid nandrolone, McEnroe admitted he had been unaware he was being given a form of steroid for six years.
