Buildings and Landmarks - Futuro - London
A house with a flying saucer look makes a space-age contrast with London's Tower Bridge. Hedi Lindblom, a 23-year-old economics student from Helsinki, is pictured with the house - called 'Futuro' - which is on view in Finnfocus 68, a floating exhibition organised by young Finnish students of economics as part of their country's export drive.

Places - The Shot Tower - Cheese Lane, Bristol
The 140ft Shot Tower under construction in Cheese Lane, Bristol, near the city's floating harbour. It will replace a 200-year-old tower that is being demolished to make way for a road scheme at Redcliffe in Bristol. Lead is cast at the top of the tower, and as it drops through the air it solidifies. It is believed to be the first shot tower built in England for 50 years.
