Heatwave in the UK
People at Brighton beach enjoy the end of the weekend near to Brighton Pier. 20/03/04: According to research, South West England is the most popular destination for Britons taking a holiday, but northern city dwellers prefer Wales and Londoners escape to the South Coast. A report by teletextholidaysshowed that the pleasures of Blackpool, Brighton and Bournemouth were proving increasingly popular with Britons. 29/06/2004: Britons are bashful about stripping off on UK beaches, a survey revealed Tuesday June 29, 2004. When it comes to baring all, 52% of respondents said they would not feel confident stripping down to their swimsuits on a beach in the UK, although they would abroad.
