A West End actor and actress, Prunella Scales and Richard Briers, do some billposting in Rupert Street. They are opening the headquarters of the Save Piccadilly Campaign on the site of the Almost Free Theatre, who are now presenting their shows in local streets and public houses. Mr Briers, currently appearing at the Criterion theatre, commented on the effect of the proposed redevelopment of the West End theatre.

Slippery surface warning sign for drivers to safely negotiate the steep-cobbled ramp leading from the ferryboat Cleddau King, which crosses the river Cleddau, Pembrokeshire. The ferry, which operates throughout the year between Pembroke Dock and Neyland, can carry 151 passengers and a number of cars on its 450 square feet of dock. It was built in 1962 at Pembroke Dock.
