Queen - Coronation Anniversary

Queen - Opening City Hall
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II stands with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, against a backdrop of the Tower of London during a visit, to open City Hall, which houses the London Assembly, on the south bank of the Thames, close to Tower Bridge. * The stunning building, designed by Foster and Partners, and constructed by Arup & Partners, has an assembly chamber, committee rooms and public facilities, together with offices for the Mayor, London Assembly Members and staff of the Greater London Authority. It provides 185, 000 sq ft (gross) of space onten levels that can accommodate 440 staff and members.
