With Caberta, Liza has been able to prove to American audiences that she's just as talented as her late mother when it comes to singing, dancing and acting. She plays Sally Bowles. Joel, is the sinister Master of Ceremonies in the Berlin night club where the action is set in pre-second World War Germany. Cabaret is based on stories of Christopher Isherwood and the John Van Druten stage play.

Film - Michael Caine and Bobby Moore - Escape to Victory premiere - Leicester Square, London

Actor Michael Caine, left, and footballer Bobby Moore in Leicester Square, London. Later in the week they line-up together for the Charity Premiere of Escape to Victory at the Odeon on Thursday. The duo star as Allied prisoners of war who are interned in a German prison camp during World War II. The film sees them play as team-mates in a football team made up of Allied prisoners of war who are challenged by a German side to an exhibition match.

Film - 'Mods and Rockers' Ballet - Twickenham Film Studios

Real life Mods and Rockers clash in a make-believe punch-up at Twickenham Film Studios. The boys and girls, from Club 59, Hackney, London, were staging the battle before the film cameras. They are appearing with the Western Theatre Ballet in the film version of the company's ballet 'Mods and Rockers', story of a Mod girl who falls for a Rocker boy. Sylvia Wellman and Simon Mottram dance their original rolls. The colour film, which is being produced and directed by Kenneth Hume, will also include 'Non Stop', another popular ballet of the Western Theatre Ballet.
