Britain's Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, leaves the King Edward VII Hospital in central London, to return to Clarence House ahead of the celebrations to mark her101st birthday. * She was admitted to the clinic Wednesday after she complained of extreme tiredness during the recent heatwave. After a diagnosis that she was suffering from anaemia, doctors administered a blood transfusion. She is expected to make her traditional birthday appearance outside Clarence House. *2/8/01 of Britain's Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, leaving the King Edward VII Hospital in central London. Security was tight for the Queen Mother's 101st birthday celebrations today in the wake of the Ealing bomb. Thursday night's car bomb explosion at Ealing, west London, heightened fears that dissident Irish terrorists may try to disrupt the royal birthday celebrations.
