Military - HMS Belfast - Chatham Dockyard
Britain's biggest Cruiser, the 11, 000 ton HMS Belfast, returned to Chatham Dockyard from her second tour of duty in the Korean war zone. During her Korean service she steamed more than 80, 000 miles and fired over 8000 6" shells at the enemy.

Greenham Common in Aldermaston, Berkshire. The former US airbase, which has now been turned into a business park, was the site of continuous women's peace protests from 1981 until 1991 when the Cruise nuclear missiles were finally removed.
