Tonight April Ashley opens at the Collegiate Theatre in 'Dracula', and this morning girl pop group 'Thunderthighs' were at the Gore Hotel, Queen's Gate to launch their new single record "Dracula's Daughter"The group (left to right) Karen Casey and Dari, teamed up with Baron Frankensteins Monster, alias Chris greener, who, at seven feet, nine inches tall claims to be the tallest man in Britain and four Count Dracula's who refused to reveal their true identities.

Comedians Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise in the Hammersmith grounds of Euston Films today, where they teamed up with tough crimebusters Carter and Regan of "The Sweeney" Fame. Inspector Regan, actor John Thaw (left) and Det Sgt Carter, actor Dennis Waterman appeared as gusts on a Morecambe and Wise Christmas show in 1976. They joked they would only appear if Eric and Ernie agreed to appear in their show, and now the quartet will play in The Sweeney: "Hearts and Minds" an episode of the next series on ITV.

Austrian Baroness Maria von Trapp, 74, whose book the Trapp Family Singers inspired the Sound Of Music musical, arrives at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London after the first night of the stage revival starring Petula Clark. Baroness von Trapp, who came over from her home in the United States specially for the first night's performance, received a standing ovation when she walked on to the London stage after the show.
