Dave Clark Five, who displaced the Beatles from the top of the hit parade with Glad All Over, leave London Airport for America. * 20/9/03: Lead singer Smith has suffered a spinal injury in a fall at his home in southern Spain. He was admitted to a hospital in Cadiz before being transferred to a nearby private hospital. His condition was described as critical but Smith s New York agent, TCI, said his consultants remained "cautiously optimistic".
