Slow But Sure The time honoured saying "The Way To A Man's Heart Is Through His Stomach", applys equally where tortoises are concerned. Young Michael Setford, who is sitting on George, the 60 year old Giant Tortoise at London Zoo, found this out when he tried to get George to move along, assisted by his cousin Malcolm Smith, of Uppminster. The youngsters discovered however that Old George's appetite for carrots was unlimited and so long as the food was there, he wzs quite contented to remain where he was!
