Fashion and Beauty - Miss Brighton 1966
The Mayoress of Brighton applies a tape measure to the hips of Miss Brighton Nicky Bradley, 20, in the Mayor's Parlour at Brighton in Sussex. Making an official record of Nicky's statistics is the Mayor, Alderman Dudley Baker, who will keep the measurements a secret until after the close of a competition in which Manchester residents can win a free holiday if they guess the correct numbers. Visitors to the Holidays at Home and Abroad Exhibition at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester will be able to meet Nicky at the Brighton stand and enter the competition to win a free stay at the Hotel Metropole.
