Dublin-born comedian Dave Allen stopped off in Leicester Square in London for a shoe-shine. He was en-route to the nearby Talk Of The Town Restaurant, where he opens for a one-month season for Bernard Delfont. Dave made his first appearance at the restaurant in 1967.

Entertainment - 1922 Rolls Royce Twenty - London

A 1922 Rolls Royce Twenty once owned by the Maharana of Udaipur en route to the BBC Television Theatre, Shepherd's Bush, London. In the back seat are Fred Emney, 79 (left) and jack Warner, 84.
