Romeo was born at St John's, Antigua, West Indies, Dave at Santa Anna California and the others in Great Britain. It was a Leicester pub 'jam' in 1973 which led to the formation of the team. Touring as support for David Cassidy at the time of their first hit established them as the leading rock 'n' roll revival band ever to emerge in this country.
