Politics - Lady Spencer-Churchill unveils Commons statue of Sir Winston - House of Commons
Lady Spencer-Churchill viewing with Dr. Horace King, the Speaker of the House of Commons, the statue of Sir Winston Churchill she unveiled in the Members' Lobby of the House. The bronze statue, by Oscar Nemon, is 7 ft. 5 in. high and stands on a 3 ft. 5 in. plinth. It has been placed beside the Churchill Arch, the Members' entrance to the Chamber, opposite a statue of Lloyd George.
