Duke in Methil

Royalty - Wilkinson Sword of Peace - Duke of Edinburgh and Lt. Col. N. J. Ridley OBE - Mooltan Barracks
Prince Philip (l), presents the Wilkinson Sword of Peace to Lt. Col. N. J. Ridley OBE, Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Queen's Own Highlanders, at the Mooltan Barracks, Tidworth, Wiltshire. The presentation was for activities in the Falklands and is the second such award to the Army in one year, the first time this happened since Wilkinson introduced the awards 17 years ago.
