Margaret Thatcher/ car bomb at House of Commons

Shock and grief show on the face of Mrs Margaret Thatcher after she had heard of the car bomb explosion at the House of Commons. The man who died in the car was Mr Airey Neave, Mrs Thatcher's spokesman on Northern Ireland. The Tory leader was in her Finchley, North London, constituency - where she had been handing over cars to two disabled women constituents - when she heard of the blast.
