Weather - Snow - Stirling, Scotland
Sheep graze on a snow-covered field near Stirling, Scotland, as the first snows of winter hit Scotland after one of the warmest autumns on record. The temperatures have now slipped down to freezing, although it will be feeling even colder than that in some parts of the country because of a bitterly cold north-wind. The snowfalls and cold spell follow the warmest October since records began in 1659.
