Hayley Mills, the 20-year-old actress daughter of John Mills, pictured at London Airport, where she left for San Francisco, having recovered form the illness that prevented her going on Tuesday. On that day, she was taken ill aboard the Boeing 707 jetliner after it had taxied out to the runway. Her mother, playwright Mary Hayley Bell, was quoted as saying that Hayley was suffering from a severe attack of gastro-enteritis.

Approximately four footballs can be made from this hide held up by Arnold Goldthorpe at Slazenger's tannery in Yorkshire. Slazenger's Challenge 25 Panel football has been selected for all matches in the 1966 World Cup and comes in three colours - orange for daylight, and white and yellow for floodlit games. Each football will be made from the finest cowhide processed in the company's own tannery in Yorkshire, and hand-stitched by experienced craftsmen.

Four schoolgirl models in a fashion parade for their fellow pupils at the Sarah Siddons Comprehensive School in Paddington, London. (l-r) Miriam Pane, Vilma Brown, Susan Brooks and Iris Squires were some of the 20 girls modelling outfits from a West End store as part of a 'poise, dress and personality' course introduced to the school by the headmistress on the suggestion of one of her teachers, Elizabeth Hunter. Girls of 14 can choose the subject as an alternative to tennis, fencing or other physical education classes.
